Alerts
Alerts flag conditions in your data that need a person to look at them — for example a meter that stopped reporting. An alert identifies a condition, not its root cause.
Open Insights → Alerts.
What raises an alert#
Select Run Monitoring Check to evaluate the current rules. Examples:
- a meter is offline — no reading for much longer than its expected interval
- submeters do not reconcile with their parent meter
- a target trajectory falls well behind plan
- a completed action delivers much less than its expected impact
- a critical Sustainability Health check fails
Running a check requires an editing role.
Work an alert#
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | New, not yet handled |
| Investigating | Someone is looking into it |
| Acknowledged | Seen and accepted |
| Action Created | An action was created to fix it |
| Monitoring | Being watched after a fix |
| Resolved | Fixed — a reason is required |
| Dismissed | Not relevant — a reason is required (Organization Manager only) |
Tip Create an action from an alert when the fix needs an owner and a date. The action then follows your action workflow.
