ErgOps Embedded overview
ErgOps Operations is sustainability management for your own organization. ErgOps Embedded extends it to your customers: you attribute emissions to the customers you serve and share the results with them through a customer portal, customer reports or the Developer API.
When would I use it?#
- You run a logistics or transport business and your customers ask for the emissions of the shipments you handle for them.
- You build a TMS, ERP or procurement platform and want to calculate emissions for your users inside your own product.
- You want to offer customers a sustainability portal instead of sending spreadsheets.
How it works#
- Create a customer account for each customer you serve.
- Attribute activity to the customer — link a calculated transport activity to the customer in the panel, or send calculations through the Developer API.
- Review customer emissions on the customer's page in ErgOps.
- Share the results through the customer portal or a customer report.
- Track usage against your contract on the Usage page.

Note ErgOps Embedded is part of your ErgOps agreement. If the Customers page says ErgOps Embedded is not enabled, contact your ErgOps representative.
Important to know#
- Your customers are not members of your organization. A customer who is given portal access sees only their own customer portal — never your workspace.
- Calculations use the same methodology as the rest of ErgOps: activity data multiplied by a governed emission factor, with the factor source and version recorded.
- Only customer-attributed calculations count toward usage. Reports, portal views, API reads and webhooks do not.
