Sustainability Health
Sustainability Health runs a set of operational checks across your data and plans and tells you what needs attention now — for example missing meter data, a target without progress, or an overdue action.
Open Insights → Health.
What is checked#
Checks cover Energy, Carbon, Actions, Targets, Supply chain and Product carbon. Select Run checks to evaluate them again.
The page shows:
- Overall Health — a priority-weighted pass rate. Critical checks count more than low-priority ones.
- Needs Your Attention — the most important failing checks.
- Monitoring areas — results grouped by area.
- Check history — previous runs.
Check statuses#
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Passing | The condition is met. |
| Failing | The condition is not met. |
| Needs data | There is not enough data to evaluate. Missing data never counts as passing. |
| Needs review | A person must look at the result. |
| Not applicable | The check does not apply to you. |
| Exception | An approved exception applies. |
From a check you can Open source (go to the data), Create Action, or Add Exception — exceptions need approval.
Health is not the same as other measures#
ErgOps keeps four measures deliberately separate:

| Sustainability Health | Is our sustainability operation working — data flowing, targets tracked, actions on time? |
| ESG Score | How are we performing across E, S and G under our chosen methodology? |
| Data confidence | How reliable is the data behind a result? |
| Framework readiness | How prepared are we against a framework's controls? |
A high score in one does not imply a high score in another. For example, excellent emissions performance with incomplete meter data can show a good ESG Score but a failing Health check.
