Review framework readiness
Framework readiness shows how prepared your organization is against the controls ErgOps maps to a sustainability framework — for example the GHG Protocol or ISO 14064-1 — and what is still missing.

Important Readiness is not certification. It is not an accredited certification, an audit opinion or a legal compliance determination. It helps you organize requirements, evidence, checks, gaps and actions so you are prepared for those processes.
How readiness is built#
Framework → areas → requirements → controls → checks → evidence
- A framework is divided into areas and requirements.
- Requirements are covered by controls. One control can serve several frameworks, so shared work counts everywhere it applies.
- Each control has checks for your organization:
- Automated checks evaluate your ErgOps data with deterministic rules.
- Workflow checks need a person to submit evidence on a schedule.
- Failing checks become gaps, and gaps can become actions.
Readiness is the weighted share of checks that are ready. Not-applicable checks with an approved exception are left out.
Readiness levels#

| Needs attention | 50–74% |
| Low readiness | 25–49% |
| Critical gaps | Below 25% |
Work with a framework#
- On the Framework readiness tab, each framework card shows its readiness, level and number of critical gaps.
- Organization Managers and Sustainability Managers can Enable or Disable a framework.
- Select View details to open the framework:
- Required actions — gaps to close, with Create action and Assign
- Evidence coverage — which requirements have approved evidence
- Framework checks, Areas & criteria, Priority gaps and Recent activity
- Select Run checks (or Run Automated Checks on the main page) to re-evaluate after new data or evidence.
Completing an action does not make a control pass by itself — the check must be re-evaluated or its evidence approved.
