Review data quality
Every result in ErgOps is only as good as its data. Data confidence tells you how much you can rely on a dataset — separately from how good or bad the performance is.
The Data Confidence card on the Overview shows your overall level. For the full breakdown, open the Data Quality page at ergops.com/panel/data/quality.
How confidence is scored#
Confidence combines four factors:
| Factor | What it asks |
|---|---|
| Source quality | Is the data from a meter, an official invoice or a manual spreadsheet? |
| Completeness | Are all expected periods and fields present? |
| Recency | How current is the data? |
| Verification | Has the data been reviewed or approved? |
Source quality has the largest weight, followed by completeness, recency and verification.
Confidence levels#
| Level | Score |
|---|---|
| Excellent | 90 and above |
| Good | 75–89 |
| Moderate | 60–74 |
| Low | 40–59 |
| Very low | Below 40 |
| Not enough data | Too little data to score |
Select View breakdown to see which factor lowers a score, and filter by facility.
How to improve confidence#
- Prefer meter exports and official invoices over manual spreadsheets.
- Fill gaps in monthly data before calculating.
- Approve extracted invoice values in the Data Hub.
- Keep data current — confidence declines as data ages.
Note Data confidence is not the same as the ESG Score, Sustainability Health or framework readiness. Each answers a different question.
