ESG Score
The ESG Score is a transparent 0–100 score built from your environmental, social and governance data, using a methodology your organization activates. Data coverage and confidence are always shown next to the score — they are never mixed into it.
The score appears on the Overview.
Before you start#
- An Organization Manager must activate a scoring methodology. Until then, no score is shown.
- Organization Managers and Sustainability Managers can calculate and recalculate the score.
Activate a methodology#
- On the Overview, open Configure ESG scoring.
- Choose a Methodology template and give it a Methodology name.
- Set the Environmental %, Social % and Governance % weights. They must total 100.
- Choose a Missing-data policy:
- Partial allowed — score what is available and show coverage.
- Strict — do not score until data is complete.
- Minimum coverage — score only above the Minimum coverage % you set.
- Set Stale after (days) — how old data may be before it is treated as out of date (default 30).
- Select Activate methodology.
Missing dimensions are never silently scored as zero.
Reading the score#

The score status tells you whether the number is complete: Calculated, Partial, Needs data, Not configured, Update pending, Updating or Failed.
Social metrics#
Social values follow an approval flow: Draft → Submitted → Approved (or Rejected). A person cannot approve a value they own.
What-if scores#
A What-if ESG Score lets you test how changes would affect the score. It is a scenario only and never changes your real score.
Note The ESG Score is an internal performance indicator based on your chosen methodology. It is not a third-party ESG rating.
