Give customers portal access
The customer portal is a read-only page where a customer sees the emissions you have attributed to them. You decide per customer whether the portal is off, private or public.
Before you start#
- You need the Organization Manager or Sustainability Manager role.
- The customer must be Active.
Portal visibility#
| Visibility | Who can open the portal |
|---|---|
| Hidden | Nobody. Visitors see Portal unavailable. |
| Private | Only people you grant viewer access. They sign in with their own ErgOps account. |
| Public | Anyone with the link. Public portals are not indexed by search engines. |
Change visibility on the customer's Portal Access tab. Select Open Portal to get the portal link to share.
Give a person private access#
- On the Portal Access tab, add a contact: Name, Email, optional Job title, and whether they are the Primary contact. Select Add Contact.
- ErgOps does not send an email. Share the portal link with the contact yourself.
- The contact creates or uses an ErgOps account with the same email address.
- When the account is verified, select Grant viewer access. Until then the row shows Account verification required.
Select Revoke to remove access immediately.
Important Portal contacts are customer viewers, not members of your organization. They can only see the portal of the customer they were granted — never your workspace, other customers or your team.
What your customer sees#
- Their name and your organization's name
- Transport emissions for the current calendar year, with a breakdown by transport mode
- Linked and calculated activity counts
- Methodology notes, including the factor sources used
- A list of available customer reports
- An English / Turkish language switch
Tips#
- After signing in, the customer may need to open the portal link again.
- Archiving a customer hides the portal and revokes every grant automatically.
